Office of Sponsored Programs
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the designated pre-award and post-award administration office for the University of North Georgia and supports the campus community’s externally funded research, service, creative activities, and outreach initiatives.
OSP advances the excellence of research and scholarship across all campuses by assisting in proposal development and providing crucial services in grants and contracts management and compliance.
Federal Funding Update
Recent and forthcoming Executive Orders issued by the current administration may impact federal funding opportunities, award negotiations, and existing awards. The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is monitoring these changes and will reach out to affected individuals and the university community as necessary. Principal Investigators (PIs) should continue work on their awarded projects unless instructed otherwise, and we encourage PIs to continue to submit proposals to federal sponsors. OSP is committed to supporting our faculty and staff in the pursuit of external funding for their research, service, and creative activities during this period of transition.
Note: Project specific agency correspondence on stop-work or pause notices must be sent to yolanda.carr@ung.edu. Any general inquiries pertaining to the federal updates may be directed to grants@ung.edu.
