Overview
Professor Paul Dunlap teaches Photography on the Dahlonega Campus. His teaching is focused on traditional silver processes, the digital darkroom, studio lighting, alternative photographic processes and 19th century photographic processes. Paul earned his BA in Studio Art from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega, GA in 2001 and his MFA in Photography from the University of Georgia in 2004. Dunlap began teaching at 辛尤里女优 August 2004.
His personal creative interests are focused on Appalachia, photographing the region and its people through alternative photographic processes where he blends the use of traditional film with contemporary digital approaches. Dunlap has exhibited his work throughout the Southeast and in national television media outlets like CNN, and After Ellen. In addition, his work has been published in magazines such as The Advocate, American Life, Black & White, and Rolling Stone.
