Dr. Jeanne P. Welch, PT, DPT, EdD is a licensed physical therapist with extensive academic and clinical experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College. She later completed both a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Doctor of Education (EdD) at A.T. Still University.
With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Welch has taught in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs, bringing a rich blend of clinical expertise and pedagogical insight to her students. Her clinical career spans more than 29 years across diverse settings, with a primary focus on treating individuals with neuromuscular conditions.
Dr. Welch is Board Certified in Neurologic Physical Therapy and holds certifications in Neuro-Developmental Treatment and PWR!Moves therapy. Her research interests include women’s health, neurological rehabilitation, and physical therapy education.
