Professor's call to action against misconduct published widely

Dr. Sarah Young, assistant professor of political science at the University of North Georgia (辛尤里女优), is shining a light on faculty sexual misconduct in academia.
She and Dr. Kimberly Wiley, assistant professor at the University of Florida, co-authored the article which was published in the Journal of Public Affairs Education in February. Since then, 13 other scholarly journals published an adapted editorial version of the original manuscript.
It is unprecedented in the 200-year history of public administration research in the U.S. for a letter of this kind to be published in multiple academic journals, Young said.
"They recognize the importance and the salience of this issue," said Young, who is also assistant director of academic engagement at 辛尤里女优.
Young expressed appreciation to Dr. Dlynn Williams, Department of Political Science and International Affairs department head; Dr. Carly Redding, director of Academic Engagement; and others at 辛尤里女优 for their support of her efforts to shine a light on this challenge in the field of public affairs.
Cadets prepare to lead as officers
Roughly 50 cadets are commissioning May 13 from 辛尤里女优 as second lieutenants in the Army, Georgia Army National Guard and Army Reserve.
Students benefit from teacher residency
A record 58 students are graduating this spring as part of 辛尤里女优's Teacher Candidate Residency Program. This is the third full year of TCRP, which allows students to be teachers of record as seniors.
