Will Douberly is an Academic Student Success Coach at the University of North Georgia’s Cumming Campus. He earned a B.S. in Justice Studies and an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University, and he is a certified school counselor in Georgia. Will’s professional background includes academic advising at Georgia Southern, school counseling in both public and private K–12 settings, serving as an athletic director, and several years of experience coaching basketball.
Will is passionate about helping students grow and succeed. He takes time to build trust and strong relationships so he can better understand each student’s unique needs. He focuses on helping students find fresh strategies to overcome challenges and reach their goals. A strong believer in the power of listening, Will’s approach is grounded in the quote: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
Outside of work, Will enjoys cooking, watching scary movies, listening to live music, and spending time with his wife. He recently became certified as a personal trainer, and he enjoys learning new things and developing new skills.
